1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Little Piggies!

These past several days have been a little rough for me. I really haven't slept good, so #1, I am tired! I have so many things on my mind, so #2, I am stressed! I am just physically and mentally exhausted! Lol!
My Husband, who normally entertains me with his humor, is busy with football camp so I figured I'd cheer myself up with the next best thing....my nieces and nephews!
These 5 beautiful little souls can make my day with the simplest of looks! I can't tell you the amount of times I would ask my sisters to send me a picture of whichever one they were with at the time, just to brighten up my day! So to get my mind off of all the crap that is going on, I decided to blog about the ones that bring happiness to my Life!

Let me start with our "Chunky Monkey"...aka Jaelah!
This little "fatso" is such a good baby! She is one of the most easiest little girls to babysit...Serious! She will happily sit there and talk to herself, lay quietly and stare at her surroundings, and smile GALORE at every little "peek-a-boo" and "clapping of HER hands"! Be careful though...if she is not fed or is not fed fast enough, the little monster in her will surely come out! But as you can see, she hasn't skipped too many meals! :) I had such a great time with her in California this past weekend! Makes me want a baby so much more! :)

Now for our "Terrorist"...aka Henry!

This little boy is FULL of energy!! I know all boys are, but I think Henry secretly drinks RockStars when his parents aren't looking...haha! jk. This boy cracks me up with his dancing, his love for his jacket and most of all his staticy hair! :) I can still remember when he was a baby...he had thee most perfect round head with a gap between his 2 front teeth! He was a butter ball who loved to give kisses and hugs! Try doing that now-a-days and you might just get a gun pulled out on you...lol! He can turn just about anything into a gun...or in Henry's words, a "Boom Boom"! There's a reason for his nickname! He loves to follow his sister around and gets upset when she doesn't want to play. He has thee cutest sad face but he is not afraid to arm wrestle by himself and make Riece feel like she's missing out! Lol! Man can I wait to have Boys! :)

Make way for our "Diva"...aka Riece!
Oh my gosh, where do I begin! This little girl has soo much attitude and ain't afraid to give sass to anyone! One of the things I LOVE about her! Haha! She is such a happy-go-lucky girl who loves to laugh, sing and eat! Haha! She is a friendly little lady but isn't afraid to knock you out, all at the same time...is that even possible? It is for her! I don't even know where to start with all the crazy and funny things this little girl says. Her parents think I'm to blame but I beg to differ. :) She recently started Kindergarten and from what I hear, she is loving it! She has talked about going to school since she was 2! It's funny, cuz her reasoning for wanting to go to school was to have lots of friends like Aunty Jaz (little did Riece know, Jaz had 2) but after her 1st day of school she told her parents she made a friend! Her name is Jasmine and she's little with glasses! Lol! Oh how I love talking with this little girl...she is crazy and hillarious!

Ho bah, check out our "Hawaiian Guy"...aka Ariez!
First off, SHAKKAH! :) I will never forget the first time I heard Ariez say that! He has thee cutest little pigeon accent and everytime I hear him talking it always brings a smile to my face! This little boy is Justin Beiber's #1 fan! He loves to sing his songs, watch his music videos and dance all night long to "Baby"! I have videos to prove it and one day, embarrass him infront of his girlfriends! :) This little guy is such a big helper! He will talk your ear off while he's helping you too and ask 21 questions about everything and anything! So be prepared to give him a fast response cuz he will make sure he has your full attention. He is such a good big brother to his sisters and he is loved by so many - so many that I hardly see this guy! Haha...But I love it when I talk to his Mom and she tells me that Ariez asked for/about Aunty Nelle! Lol! Ariez just knows I'm the best!

Last but not least, our "Little Devil"...aka Jordyn!
From the beginning, this little girl would cry, scream and kick just to let you know she did NOT like you! Haha! If you were even in the same room as her, she would cry until you left or if she couldn't see you anymore! (Ron had to play this game alot with her when she was a baby...lol). She's grown out of that stage, but she will still let you know your place and that you don't scare her! :) Aside from the not-so-friendly moments, Jo Jo has a big heart - especially for her siblings! She will tell you that Ariez and Jaelah are HER brother and sister, so back up - she will swing! Lol! She is a big daddy's girl! She loves to be tickled and loves being chased! I remember the first time Jo Jo smiled and laughed, I remember it because it didn't happen very often with this little girl. Lol! Oh my can this little lady drink! She loves soda and can down a can in minutes! One thing I can always say, is that she is always dressed so cute! I want to borrow some of her outfits sometimes! Too bad, they're too BIG though. jk. :)

Man, just reminiscing about all the old times and funny moments made me feel so much better!
I love these 5 as if they were my own and I am blessed to have each of them in my Life! I hold them all so close to my heart and can't wait for more nieces and nephews to come! Thank you Riece, Henry Jr, Ariez, Jordyn and Jaelah for being such wonderful nieces and nephews and always bringing a smile to my face. I want you all to know that I love you all so much and I am here for anything and everything you guys need or will ever need! A BIG thank you to Henry Sr. & Jenise and Josiah & Lola for always letting me "borrow" your kids and trusting me!
Hopefully Aunty will soon become a "Mom"! :)

A Great Man Has Returned Home...

I still can't believe it's real =,(
"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal." - Irish Proverb

I woke up today and went to do laundry with my sister Jazmyn. We headed out around 12pm and finished at about 1:30pm. I walked into my room to put things away and just as I finished, I got a call from my Aunty Toki. My Aunt did not sound like her usual happy self though.
She asked, "Are you with Papa and Have you heard from Jerry (my little cousin)?"
I replied, "No to both, Papa is still at dialysis."
I wasn't ready to hear what she said next...My Aunt started to cry and said, "Little Jerry just called and said that his dad (Uncle Jerry) had just passed away."
I was speechless.
I couldn't think of anything or even really say anything.
The only thing that kept going through my mind was my Aunty Lanea and my cousins. I had a million questions to ask but kept thinking of one in particular...How? My Uncle was Healthy! I never heard of him ever being admitted to the hospital or battling some sickness. He was one of our goofy and happy-go-lucky Uncles - Never in a million years would I ever think something like this was to ever happen to him, especially with how young he was.
My Aunty Toki continues to tell me that they are not sure what happened, but that he was sitting and talking with his brother (Uncle Bill) and all of a sudden fell off of his chair. The autopsy will be completed within these next couple days for us to know for sure, but they're thinking it may have been a heart attack.
I hung up with my Aunt to call other family members. I was still in shock of it all and wasn't really sure how to relay the news to my siblings. We are all very close to my Uncle Jerry, Aunty Lanea and cousins. I knew it would be hard for my siblings to take in, as it was for me. I called out to my sister Jazmyn. She was in the kitchen and as soon as she heard she grabbed her phone to call my brothers, she knew I would already be blowing up our sister Jenise. Of course, after 2 calls, Jenise finally answers...I could tell she had just woken up and knew that she would be very emotional. I give her the news about our Uncle and Jenise starts to cry...cried for our Uncle but more for his loving family that is left behind.
The loss of a loved one is one of the most difficult times in our lives. I get so emotional when I think of how my Aunt and cousins are feeling at this moment. I had experienced this same situation a few years ago with another one of my close, goofy and happy-go-lucky Unlces, (Uncle Joe). Both of my Uncles left at such a young age. These 2 men are special to me, as are their wives and children. My Uncles were blessed to have strong women in their lives who are sweet and selfless. They do more for others than they do for themselves. My cousins are lucky to have such great parents and examples. They have all inherited great characteristics from their parents! Their Fathers' legacies will continue to live...through them.
I miss and love you so much Uncle Jerry! I have so many memories of you!
I can remember when my parents were going through their divorce, You continued to show love to my Dad by going and playing basketball with him and my brothers. I used to think to myself, "Wow, Uncle Jerry is my Mom's cousin but still wants to hang out with my Dad?" (lol) At that time I didn't really understand but I do now...You were a friend no matter what.
This time last year, Ron and I were blessed to have had you and your family here to share our special day with. I can remember walking out of the Temple and seeing Aunty Lanea's sweet smile and You standing by her side. I look back at all the wedding planning and I remember talking with Aunty Lanea and Natalie about being in my line, and there goes Aunty as always...
"Whatever you and Ron need sweetie, Uncle Jerry and I are here for you guys!"
Well Uncle Jerry..."Whatever your family is need of, Ron and I will be here for them!"
I don't want to focus so much on what our family here on earth has lost, but more so, what our family in heaven has gained.
A Great Man, Husband, Father, Son, Uncle, Brother, Cousin and Friend has completed his mission here on earth and our Heavenly Father has called for his return.
You are and always will forever be in our hearts Uncle!
I cherish all the memories I have of you and most of all, your love for your family! I can only hope that one day, Ron and I have what you and Aunty Lanea have...a big family with wonderful children, a Man who loves and works hard for his family and a Woman who is strong and sticks by her husband's side through all the good/bad times.
To my Dearest Aunty Lanea, Lil' Jerry, Natalie, Justin, Jordan, Nicole and Jacob...You are all in my thoughts and prayers and I will be here for you all whenever, wherever, for whatever and if ever you need anything. No matter how rough this road we call Life gets, be at ease through the Plan of Salvation, and know that your bond is eternal like his loving touch, moments of laughter and his stoic priesthood presence. I love you all!
Man, there is so much to say, but too hard to write.
I love you so much Uncle!
Can't wait to see you again in our Father's Kingdom.
Rest In Love

An Eventful Year!

One year ago...I married my best friend and the LOVE of my Life!
Happy 1st Anniversary to US!

I can't even begin to describe what an awesome feeling I had waking up on July 31, 2011. :) Looking back at the year that had just passed and reminiscing about all the memories we added to our lives- brought tears of joy, laughter and an overall happiness feeling to my heart!
Ron and I have grown so much together as husband and wife and believe it or not, we learned even more about one another. Being together 7 years, prior to getting married, you would think you know just about everything there is to know about eachother, but I continue to learn more and more about Ron, and even myself. Living together on our own and having to rely on no one else but eachother made us stronger! I look back at some of the trials we both went through and I am so proud of how we handled every situation and how we pulled together to get through those times!
Now if you know Ron, you know that he is a very entertaining guy! Even when I'm mad, I can't help but still laugh at his corny jokes! And mind you, I have heard them only about a billion times...Lol! Ron knows how to use his humor to get him out of trouble...hahaha! I say this all the time, but his humor is one of the reasons why I fell inlove with him! :) He always puts a smile on my face and can turn a bad day into a good day just by being himself.
Let me give you a small run down of this past year's new experiences:

  • We moved into our very own place downtown at Towne Gate Appts
  • Found out just how expensive grocery shopping can be - especially when Ron wants 12 bags of chips
  • Started going to a new ward which mostly consisted of students - missed Bishop Hales
  • Ron quickly found out why my sisters hated sharing a bed with me - I like to move and hit in my sleep
  • Ron played his 1st season of Division I football for the UofU - Go Utes!
  • I tried some cooking - "tried" being the keyword...Ron was a good sport
  • We got a free trip to Vegas for Ron's bowl game against Boise State - met some new friends
  • Put together and decorated our first christmas tree together - I won't say what Sherry told us to do...Ha!
  • I discovered that Ron is very particular about how he organizes and arranges his things
  • Discovered our love for TOMs - soo comfy and not pricy
  • Started working out together again - I need to get back on track with that
  • Visited the Temple as Husband & Wife - what a blessing
  • We both experienced some health issues this year - so thankful for the priesthood Ron holds
  • Gatorade became our new best friend - Drinks and Chips is what it takes to make my Man happy
  • Had to get used to my new name and calling Ron my husband - it was weird not to say boyfriend anymore after 7 years and changing from "Davidson" to "Tongaonevai" was going from one extreme to another...But i wouldn't have it any other way!
These are just a few of the things that I can think of off the top of my head, but we'll stop there so I don't make this a 10 page blog. This past year was one of the best year's of my life! It has taught me so much about myself and how strong Ron and I really are. We are definitely opposites, but it is what they say, opposites do attract! What I lack he picks up and what he lacks I pick up. We've learned to compromise and work together through everything. Don't get me wrong, we have our moments (who doesn't), but sometimes it's best to agree to disagree and leave it at that.
Let me go ahead and give you all the details of what our Anniversary consisted of...I'll keep this PG! Lol! (Get your minds out of the gutter)

I woke up around 10am to meet with our wedding cake lady. She doesn't believe in eating frozen-one year old cake, so her package included a freshly-made top layer (identical to our wedding day cake) delivered on our 1st Anniversary.
After that, we decided to head out for some brunch at IHop and took my little sister Jazmyn with us. We ate and talked about everything as usual. I got a call from one of my best friends, Tara. She told me that she just got engaged to her Jr. High School Sweet-heart! And of course, being that it was our anniversary and hearing some great news about a good friend who is also going to tie the knot, just got me all teary-eyed! Hahahaha! Ron and Jazmyn are making fun of me, of course.
We decided to go and kill some time at F.Y.E. and pick up some movies. Ron is a big movie buff so we decided to go and take advantage of their sale. We got 6 movies for $30! :) Wahoo!
After that, Ron offered to make a stop at Starbucks to get me my caramel frappuccino - more sweet than coffee, no whipcream and tons of caramel sauce! (He hates those things and hates when I get em, but decided to be nice that day).
We went home to watch one of our new movies - American History X, probably not the best movie to watch on your anniversary, or maybe any day. Lol.
Started getting ready for our dinner...can I be fat and say I was really excited!? Why? Because Ron had me thinking that he wasn't doing anything/making plans for our Anniversary. I was bummed of course. I came home after work on Friday and Ron surprised me with a reservation he made at a premier steakhouse called, Flemings. Now, I'm not a big steak eater, but if/when I do eat steak, it's got to be the best! We've never been to Flemings but we're always up for trying new things. After getting ready, Jaz snapped a couple pics of us...
We headed out to our destination!
Now mind you, this place is downtown and if you know how parking downtown is, than you know it sucks butt...big time! We didn't want vallet, we're cheap about that kind of stuff- Lol, so after circling a couple times...BAM! We got lucky and got front row parking! That was our adrenaline rush for the day!
We head in and were greeted by the friendly host. Ron says we have reservations and they seat us in a nice, big, comfy booth. Our waiter, who by the way was AWESOME, comes and gives us the spiel about the food, gives us these 10 pound menus to look at and takes our order.
Now, I told you already that this was a premier steakhouse...tell me why Ron orders a double chicken breast for his main course and I order their barbecued-glazed salmon for mines??? After giving our orders, we both looked at each other and just laughed. :) The food was the bomb though! My salad was already half way eaten by the time I remembered to take a pic...Lol! Fresh mozzarella and sweet grape tomatoes is the best! :)
How excited is he!? :)
And because my husband is just so darn likeable- We got an amazing dessert to share...on the house! :) How do you like us now!? Ha!
On our way out were given a card and thanked for choosing Flemings to celebrate our special day.
Here is what they hand us...really? something doesn't look right...lol

We decided to catch a late show of "Horrible Bosses" but stopped off at the house to have our cake first. So we got home and went to the kitchen...Ron pulls out the cake and starts cutting into it. I had my phone in one hand ready to take a pic but Ron tells me to put my phone down and says, "Lets imitate our wedding day by feeding each other!" So i decide to go along with that idea cuz it was cute of him to suggest that. Not thinking it all the way through...as soon as we have our cakes in hand and are making our way towards each other's mouths...Ron's hand comes fast at my face and shoves the cake all over! His response was, "Babe I didn't get to do that at our wedding so now was my chance!" Never again am I going to take Ron serious when he is trying to be sweet! Lol. Needless to say, our cake was yummy and I am so thankful it was fresh! :)
Very professional, I must say! :)

We still had some time to kill before our movie...so we decided to invite my sister, Jenise and her kids over, to spend some time with them before they headed back to Arizona the next day. After hanging out with them for a while we decided to take a rein check on the movie and just hang out with the kids. They were down here in Utah for the past 2 weeks and it was going to be a long time before we got to see them again, so we decided to take advantage of the time we still had with them. :)
Our day was simple and relaxing. I loved it! I wouldn't have done anything different, except maybe beat Ron to the punch and shoved the cake in his face! :) I just want to thank my Husband for all that he does for me! He is a hard working, dedicated and intelligent Man, who always puts me first in everything he does! I want him to know that I love him always and will forever be there through anything! He continues to make me a better person each day by his example! I am so thankful I have him as my eternal companion and that I am sealed to a worthy man who honors his priesthood!
Ron, you are and will always be, "My Everything" I luv you!

I'm sick & tired of being SICK and TIRED!

Being sick WITH allergies SUCKS! :(
If I was brave enough to take a picture I would - But I'll keep things cute with a cartoon instead! This pictures tells it all!
A couple years ago, Allergies became apart of my life. Not sure what started it or what was causing me to constantly sniff, cough, scratch or rub my eyes but it was miserable!
For whatever reason last spring/summer I was fortunate enough to not go through that again...But its back this year and as much as I love Summer, I want the Fall to come quick!
Yesterday is when I started getting that itchy feeling in the back of my throat....I wanted to rip my eyeballs out....and I couldn't stop sniffling for the life of me. So as my allergies started to take over....I started to feel like I was getting strep or a cold. I tried to drink a Jamba or shake to keep my throat wet but that did not do much to help.
I went to bed last night stuffy, coughing and with a runny nose. As you can imagine I did not get much sleep and was constantly blowing my nose and trying to unplug my ears from all the pressure of blowing my nose. Not sure what time it was, but I finally knocked out for the night. I woke up to my alarm (which seemed louder than normal) at 7am and I kid you not, I felt like I was hit by a car or something. My head felt huge and heavy...I had the biggest headache of my life...My throat was swollen, I could hardly talk...My ears were plugged, and to top it all off.....My nose was burning from all the rubbing I did!
Needless to say...it was NOT a fun night.
I'm hoping things get better soon! Ron is a BIG help and always takes good care of me...So I'll take a Venti caramel frap babe, ya know...to help my throat!? :)

You Are Cordially Invited To:

Who - Lula Sonny Moa Tuinei
What - Graduation
Where - Capitol Theatre
When - Friday, June 10, 2011

Sooo proud of my Mom! She graduated with honors and received her Associates Degree from Steven's Henager College! What an accomplishment! :) Goes to show that anything is possible with hard work, dedication, making sacrifices and having a positive attitude!
So after I got off of work, I went straight to my Mom's house to meet my sisters, cousin and Aunt. We rushed around to a few stores to do some last minute shopping....and after my daily dose of caramel frappuccino, it was time to head home to get ready. Playing dress-up with my Mom is a rare occasion so I took full advantage of this moment to really doll her up! :) Not that this woman needs any of it - but after a little bit of make-up, hairspray to hold the curls and garb fit for a graduate.....VOILA!
We headed over to Capitol Theatre and can I just say...standing in that line, in a small lobby with no air-conditioner, with tons of people breathing heavily was sooo not the business! Lol! After the longest 30 minutes of my life, we were finally allowed to head in and find our seats. I found that playing the game "Where's Waldo" can be tough at a graduation ceremony given that everybody is dressed the same, but in my Mom's case, it was easy to find the 6' ft Samoan Beauty! :) My cousin Chris and I ran over to take a quick pic and thankgoodness mines turned out better than his...Lol! I got a pic of both my Mom and Step-dad...these 2 look so happy! :) The only thing I hate about graduations is how long they are...this graduation was no different! Sitting through the typical commencements speeches and musical numbers was all worth it though! After the paparazzi finished up the night with family pictures, it was off to dinner we went! My Mom is a BIG seafood lover, so what better way to end her special day with a bucket of the best from Joe's Crab Shack! Yum! :)
I want to take this time to tell my Mom how much I love her! She is one of my best friends and I can go to her for anything! She has a big heart and is always willing to go the extra mile! She is a beautiful woman with an awesome personality! Her example has taught me that no matter what or how long it takes....you CAN do it! I am so proud of you Mom! You are the BEST

Love Always....

My Funny Bone =D

I know he will kill me for posting this but I really felt the need to express my love for the MAN that still gives me butterflies every time I see him, makes me laugh so hard it hurts and is consistently there for me through thick and thin....my Husband! He is my best friend, the man of my dreams and I am so thankful to have him as my eternal companion!
I truly believe first impressions are very important and about 9 years ago, I met Ron at Hunter High. You could say Ron was a popular guy and having said that, his "cool guy" attitude was NOT so popular! Lol! It took some time, but his smooth talk finally found its way to my heart our Junior year and we've been inseparable ever since! :) We've had our rocky moments but who doesn't? It's been a long road for the both of us but it's made us stronger and happier!
Ron and I decided to tie the knot on July 31, 2010 in the Salt Lake City Temple! We had a beautiful wedding reception at The U of U Ballroom and had so many family and friends there to share our special day with. The food was delicious and the entertainment was off the hook! It's funny when you look back at the planning preparations - you stress so much for just a few hours! :) It's all worth it in the end though.
If anyone can turn your frown upside down...its definitely Ron! :) When I meet people who know Ron, the first thing out of their mouth is, "He is soooo funny!" Ron's sense of humor makes him the life of the party! He is a kid at heart and has a way of making you laugh at the silliest things! Probably one of the main reasons why I fell so head over heels for him! :) Having a sense of humor is definitely a MUST!
I admire Ron for so many reasons! He is a concoction of hard-working, dedication, intelligence, discipline and courage! He's never afraid to go after his dreams and takes full advantage of everything that life has to offer! All of his hard work paid off in the fall of 2009. He became a Ute and currently plays football for The University of Utah! Another goal to check off the list! His example has and will always be embedded in my heart! I hope when that day comes, our children will follow in their father's footsteps of pursing their dreams! :)
I had the intentions to try and keep it brief but once you get me talking about my husband, I can go on and on and on! Lol! :) I just want to thank him for all that he has done to make me the happiest woman ever! He truly is the perfect recipe for the greatest man/husband! Our journey has brought so much joy in my life and the road to true bliss seems never-ending! I love you Ron Folaumoetao Tongaonevai Jr.! XoXo

"Introduce yourself...OKAY!" :)

Being that I have some time today....I thought I would start "blogging" away! :)

Let me start off by telling you a little more about ME! :) I am 25 years old and the oldest of 13 (5 biological siblings and 8 step-siblings)! I have 3 beautiful nieces and 2 crazy little nephews! I love getting together for family fun and spending time with all my nieces and nephews! You could say I'm the favorite Aunty! Lol! Having a big family definitely has its ups and downs but I wouldn't trade any of it for the world!
I am married to thee hottest/funniest/buffest guy ever.....Ron Folaumoetao Tongaonevai Jr.! We have been together since 2002 and I married my HighSchool Sweet-heart on July 31, 2010! :) Wow! Almost at our 1 year mark....Yay!
Volleyball is definitely the sport I love! I don't play as much as I would like to or should...but when I do find the time to go out and play...I KICK BUTT!! Lol! Jk
Football has found a special place in my heart, mostly because my husband eats, sleeps and breathes Football! :) He loves what he does and is pretty darn good if I must say! Guess you gotta be if you're the "Pancake Master"! Not sure if that name was given to him because of football or a contest he won at IHop! Hahahaha! Jk, I Luv U Babe!
I'm going on 4 years now with Intermountain HealthCare and I love love LOVE my job! I couldn't ask for anything better! I have to say that I have thee coolest/best boss ever!
If there is anything that will bring a smile to my face or brighten up my day, it's definitely Junk Food! I, know, I know, How fat?!? Lol! I for sure have a "sweet tooth" and you're more than likely to always find some kind of candy in my purse! Maybe THAT's why I'm the favorite Aunt...??? Nah! They love me cuz I'm just that awesome! :)
I love to shop! As for clothes - anything cute! But if I could wear jeans and a sweatshirt everyday, I totally would! Shoes - my taste changes all the time, Ron says I go through phases! After I'm done with a certain style, my sister Jazmyn is right there to make use of them! Right now though, I just cannot get enough of TOMs! I love the look and love how comfortable they are! And as a bonus, every pair you buy they donate a pair to a child in a third world country! I fully support those types of causes!
Well, I really can't think of anything more to share about myself, but if you want to know more, just ask! :) Until next time.....

Toodles!
